mrr_berl

Micro Rain Radar (mrr_berl) :
The MRR MPI_1 owned by the Max-Planck-Institute Hamburg (Peters) will be operated either at Tempelhof or the Meteorological Institute. Local contact is Reimer.

Micro Rain Radar (mrr_berg) :
The MRR MIUB_2 owned by Meteorological Institute Bonn (Simmer) is operated at the water authority organisation Erftverband. The X-Band radar Bonn performs regular elevation scans over the site.

Micro Rain Radar (mrr_bonn) :
One MRR MIUB_1 owned by Meteorological Institute Bonn (Simmer) is currently operated in Africa and will be back in Bonn early 2007. At MIUB further instruments (parsival disdrometer, X-Band radar, ceilometer, met station ..) are operated.

Micro Rain Radar (mrr_hamb) :
The MRR UHH_2 owned by the University of Hamburgs Meteorological Institute (Peters) will be operated Hamburg?.

Micro Rain Radar (mrr_helg) :
The MRR UHH_1 owned by the University of Hamburgs Meteorological Institute (Peters) will be operated on Helgoland together with IFM-Kiels (bumke optical disdrometer ODM470_2.

Micro Rain Radar (mrr_kiel) :
The MRR MPI_2 owned by the Max-Planck-Institute Hamburg (Peters will be operated on the roof of the IFM-Geomar together with Kiels (bumke optical disdrometer ODM470_1. Further instruments include ceilometer and weather station.

Micro Rain Radar (mrr_lich) :
The MRR owned by DLR Oberpfaffenhofen (Hagen will be operated as a continuation of the AQUARadar campaign at the DLR receiving station Lichtenau together with a Joss-Waldvogel- and a Parsival disdrometer.

Micro Rain Radar (mrr_lind) :
The MRR owned by the German Weather Service DWD (Engelbart will is operated the Richard-Assmann Observatory together with an optical didrometer FD12P. Many other observations are performed at Lindenberg

Micro Rain Radar (mrr_zing) :
The MRR MPI_3 owned by the Max-Planck-Institute Hamburg (Peters) will be operated at Zingst where long time series data exist.

Micro Rain Radar transsect (mrr_cop2, mrr_cop_2, mrr_cop3, mrr_cop4) :
The MRRS owned by FZK Karlsruhe (Handwerker), DWD (Seltmann, MPI_4 (Peters) and University of Cologne (Crewell will operated along a transect. Each site will be equipped with a surface disdrometer. During COPS in summer 2007 two more MRR will be available.
