Wind profiles from different subsets of the 36beam VAD-scan:
If we take only every second, third, fourth, sixth or twelfth beam we get VAD scans with 18, 12, 9, 6 or 3 beams.
Of course they cover nearly the same volume (take nearly the same time) but it gives an impression
how changing the number of beams changes the quality of the retrieved wind profile.
