*Situation

The weather station is situated at the Zimmerwald Observatory, located
about 10 kilometers south of the city of Bern, Switzerland.

The coordinates are 46° 53' N, 7° 28' E, altitude: 906 m a.s.l.

*General

The Zimmerwald Weather Station is a MAWS model manufactured by
Vaisala. The station is maintained by the research group "Radiometric
Methods for Environmental Monitoring" of the Microwave Department,
Institute of Applied Physics, University of Bern, Switzerland.
