ITaRS brings together a group of universities, research organizations and high-tech companies from different disciplines with the aim to further develop the area of atmospheric remote sensing. Over the last three years, they trained 16 PhD students and young post-docs in this Marie Sklodowska-Curie Initial Training Network.
The ITaRS network offered their fellows a mixture of summer schools, joint campaigns, soft skill courses and work experience in academia and industry. Each of the fellows is employed by one of our 9 European partners. Together, they form a new generation of scientists, who are able to close the gap between the specialized development of single instruments and atmospheric applications.
